The math behind a crash investigation shouldn't sit behind a paywall — skid, yaw, momentum, crush and delta-V are open to anyone. Paid plans add what happens around the math: cases in the cloud, scene photos attached, exhibit packs ready for court, and a shared library for your unit.
Every new account starts on 7 days of Investigator — no card. It moves to Free after unless you subscribe.
Prices in USD. Agency plans are invoiced and support purchase orders.

Questions investigators actually ask
If yours isn't here, write to us and we'll answer it plainly.
Will my case be deleted when retention runs out?
Never silently. We warn you 30, 14 and 7 days out, and a case only ever moves to read-only — we do not destroy case data on a timer. Any case can be placed on legal hold on every paid plan, which exempts it from expiry entirely for as long as the hold stands.
Why is Team the best value?
At four people, Team costs the same as four Investigator accounts and adds the shared library, case assignment and audit trail for nothing. At ten people it works out to $18 per person per year — 60% less than individual accounts.
Can we pay by purchase order?
Yes, on Department and Agency. We invoice with net-30 terms and can supply a W-9, which is what most agency purchasing departments need. Card payment stays available on every plan.
What happens to my work if we stop paying?
Your cases stay readable and exportable — you are never locked out of your own casework. New cloud saves pause until you are back within the free allowance, and local worksheets keep working exactly as they always have.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It is free indefinitely, with every calculator, every worked solution and the full scene-conditions lookup. If the calculators are all you need, that is a perfectly good place to stay.
